Anacapa Sciences, Inc. has issued licenses
to law-enforcement agencies and commercial organizations to conduct
training outside the United States. Typical terms of these licenses
are as follows:
- Anacapa provides computer disks of the course
book, practical exercises, and course presentations to the agency.
- The agency may modify and reproduce the materials
in the quantities needed for training with the understanding that
development of these materials by Anacapa will be clearly and
prominently acknowledged, and that ownership and copyright of
all materials will remain vested with Anacapa.
- All instruction is conducted by a person
or persons trained in the course or courses directly by, or in
training approved by, Anacapa.
- The unlimited licensee has perpetual, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, unlimited-site authorization to use these materials
to train its own personnel and the personnel of other agencies.
The limited licensee (the limited license is no longer issued)
may train only its own personnel at its own facilities.
- The commercial licensee has a time-limited,
exclusive license to train personnel within a specified country
or region.
