Brief descriptions of the instructors of Anacapa's analytical training courses are provided below in alphabetical order.

Richard G. Fuller

Mr. Fuller has 29 years of combined experience as a criminal intelligence analyst and as an instructor in criminal intelligence analysis training courses. Prior to joining the Anacapa instructional staff in 1978, he spent four years as an intelligence analyst with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's office. He analyzed and described patterns of criminal activity in a three-county region of California, and coordinated the data-collection activities of field investigators. His last assignment in a 20-year career with the U.S. Army was teaching military law and history at the University of California. He holds an MA degree from Arizona State University, and attended the Army's Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.


Douglas H. Harris

Mr. Harris has designed and evaluated many innovations in criminal investigation, including analytical techniques and computer-aided techniques for the analysis of complex, organized criminal activity. He is the developer, or co-developer, of the Anacapa courses on Criminal Intelligence Analysis, Analytical Investigation Methods, Financial Manipulations Analysis and Computer-Aided Analysis. He has conducted intelligence analysis courses for agencies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and Singapore. He has formal training in psychology, statistics, engineering, and naval science, with a Ph.D. from Purdue University.


Glen Ridgeway

Mr. Ridgeway has been conducting courses in analytical investigation methods and criminal intelligence analysis for Anacapa Sciences, Inc., for more than 25 years. He has also held key investigation and intelligence positions in the New Jersey State Police and in the New York Organized Crime Task Force. He has developed and conducted special courses in analytical techniques for several law enforcement agencies at the national and state levels, including the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Labor, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Department of Justice. He has been active in the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA), and the Society of Certified Criminal Analysts. He is a past president of that IALEIA and past chancellor of the SCCA. He holds an MS degree from Iona College in Criminal Justice.


Jack W. Stuster

Mr. Stuster has been with Anacapa Sciences, Inc. for more than 22 years, has conducted courses in analytical investigation methods and advanced (computer-aided) intelligence analysis, and has developed computer-based techniques for intelligence analysis. He has also worked with law enforcement agencies throughout the United States on the development of techniques for traffic law enforcement, including the prevention and detection of driving while intoxicated, speed law enforcement, and reducing the burden of reporting procedures. Mr. Stuster has formal training in psychology and anthropology, and holds the Ph.D. degree in anthropology .
